Evaluation:
Typography was the hardest project that I had till now. However I got help from my mates in class. At the beginning it was hard to do it but when I got the hang of it was easy but I faced problems with the clipping mask and by the help of my mates I got used to it. More over I stared my work by doing my templates in class and for homework I only had 30 seconds to 1 minute each box in class it was time challenging but I got used to it. I started it using the letter L ل I found it difficult because it was simple so i then chose the letter A and ي i found it much more easier and being more creative with those letters. So i did them on illustrator but the problem was my drawings of wasn’t accurate so i need to adjust it by illustrator so that it looks similar to the drawings and i did good job with it and happy about what i accomplished.

Here is the process of my work while i was exploring ideas.

Research:
For this project the research that I did is not so much because I did not have enough time I mostly looked at students work, and my colleges work and the work on our teacher blog so i got ideas from it but i didn’t feel comfortable doing the same because it wont be creative and will look similar to most students work.

Project Narrative:
The project is about typography and how to use illustrator and create a design with a fonts and learn to recognize fonts which are sans-serif or serif. The project task is to do four designs two in arabic and two in english and one is my name and create them using illustrator. At the begging it didn’t look interesting because I thought it was easy but it turned out the opposite because it needs an idea to plan and then develop it and after developing it needs refinements it is challenging to do but i will try my best to achieve what i can.
